The Right Place at the Right Time

On our way to the candlelight service at Vineyard a few weeks back, Mom and I dropped off an unknown roll of film at Walgreens. Being the impatient person I can be, I decided to go for one hour processing. Being the impatient person I can be, I decided not to wait for the developing. After all, I had a few more errands to run before church. The service lasted till around 8:30, and Mom and I headed straight for Walgreens. There was one customer ahead of me who was looking at her photos. While the attendant was looking for my photos, Mom and I noticed several interesting ones “on display.” Mom said, “To heck with her pictures, I want these.” To which the attendant replied, “Well, this guy came in earlier with an original roll of film from 1976. These are the ones he discarded. Normally we have to destroy these daily before closing at midnight, but due to the unique content this gentleman gave his permission to share these.” He offered us our choice for the cost of the photo processing.
