Shayla's Tidbit of Wisdom for the Day
And No, I am not frustrated, but this is part of a PSY200 assignment I am doing.
(Hi, Ms. Rudd!)

Frustration is an internal emotional state resulting from interference with satisfaction of a motive or blocking of goal-directed behavior.

I would have to say that blatant, inconsiderate actions frustrate me the most, but if yours is one of the following:

In case of delays, always have something you can read or do to make the most of your time.

On losses, learn from the experience and find a way to do better the next time.

With a lack of resources, be creative with what you do have or find a way to get what you do not.

On failure, If at first you don’t succeed…

And finally, upon rejection, don’t take it personal.

I think I have a high frustration threshold.

Oh #@$^&%! My cell phone has no signal....@#$%^&%$#%^

I don't even know how to curse with a keyboard. How frustrating!

Years ago, I studied Rational Emotive Therapy. I am suppoosed to behave as a cross between Dirty Harry and Dr. Spock(Capt. Kirk's 1st Officer, not that stupid, liberal baby doctor) So now when I get angry, I shoot the person or thing that is the subject of my anger and then explain how it was NOT rational to do that.
