DARE I say, “I am?”
Not because I’m ALL sufficient.
How dare I say, “I am?”
Because it’s all that I CAN do.
If I say, “I am,”
Will you understand me?
When I say, “I am,”
Will you AGREE that it is true?
How can I say, “I am?”
You ask…
Because I say, “I am.”
But that IS God’s reply.
Even still, I know, “I am.”
Once more to explain myself,
I STILL say ‘cause I am.
Still you wonder…WHY!?
The reason WHY I say, “I am.”

BECAUSE!

God created me. God is the reason I can do anything I do. God is the source of all that I’ve been given. God is the only truth I know. After years of being the god of MY OWN universe, I heard God say, “Just Be.” To which I replied, “Oh God…my God, I am.”
