Just call me Percy...

Our friend Faye is now affectionately known as Faith to me. That started about 4 or 5 months ago, I suppose, and it just stuck. One day this week I wrote an e-mail to her,
"Dear Faith,

----------- ------ --- ------ ----. ---- ------- ---- -- ---. - ----- -- ----- --- - ---.
(You get the jist, right?)

Love, Perserverance" I thought it quite witty, but didn't draw any extra attention to it just to see how it went over. Faith caught right on! She immediately agreed with me, and asked, "Can I call you Percy, for short?" To which I replied, "That will be just fine."
